IPL flash treatments provide a lasting solution by destroying hair follicles. In addition, these methods leave skin soft and supple, without stubble or irritation.
The methods are suitable for various body areas such as legs, arms, armpits and genital areas, as well as the back, which is a very popular application, especially for men.
Treatment process
The hair removal process at 1st Beauty Spa starts with a consultation, during which we analyse your skin and hair structure to select the best method. During waxing and sugaring, the skin is cleansed and prepared if necessary before the wax or sugar paste is applied and removed.
IPL strobe treatments require multiple sessions, during which light pulses are directed at target areas to destroy hair follicles. After treatment, the skin is soothed and cared for to prevent irritation.
Approximately 25% of body hair is growing and can be treated with flash light, all the rest is in a resting phase and is treated during subsequent sessions. Up to 90% of growing hair can be removed per session. Depending on the area to be treated, an average of between 5 and 10 sessions are required for a perfect result.
What should be considered for the treatment?
For optimal results, the skin regions to be treated should not be exposed to direct sunlight outdoors and in the solarium without protection, both before and after the treatment. During the summer months, exposed areas of skin should be protected with sunblock.
